Dennis, was joy to be around I went through grammer school with him and can still remember his up beat personality. He always had a wonderfull smile and got along with everyone. To me he was a boy with a big heart and a soft nature. A joy to remember. You will be missed. It was a joy to have known Dennis. As a young boy he was a friend to all.

I remember Dennis so clearly in my mind's eye from the time I moved to Paramus in 3rd grade. We spent hours in the woods by Spring Valley Road and Forest Avenue, or over in his backyard, or biking down to the stores along Midland Avenue. It was such a totally carefree time being with him. I especially remember the relationship Dennis had with his mom and dad, both of whom welcomed me into their home like another child. (I can almost taste the grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup his mother made for us when we came in from a brisk November day during the teachers' convention break, and I can still feel the sun coming through the floor-to-ceiling front windows as we sat and played on his living room floor.) Although we developed different interests by high school, neither of us forgot what those days of innocent freedom meant. His picture in the yearbook brings back such fond, fond memories.
