I remember so well meeting Donny as a freshman in high school. He was one tough Italian-American and we became fast friends! We lived on two opposite sides of Paramus and yet we were able to get to each other's house by bike with no problem. If it were not for Donny's father, who processed our film for "Gang War," for nothing, it would never have been possible to make the movie. I even took Donny's sister, Kathleen, to the freshman "Prom" under his watchful eye. Donny was absolutely dedicated to his friends! If you were his friend "you were his FRIEND"! If you were not his friend then keep your distance! I was there when he asked Terry out for the first time, and little did I know that it would be a life long romance. He was just crazy nuts in love with her and I don't blame him! I couldn't compete with Terry because she is way prettier than me and because Donny knew his priorities. Terry was his priority! I can count on one hand those male friends I can genuinely say I love. Donny is one of them...

Homeroom with Donnie was a great way to start any school day. When he chose you for his friend you could count yourself one of the lucky ones. He was so cool he set the bar for cool. How sad that he is not with us anymore.

He had a quiet way of being the center of any room he was in. Smooth, so GQ, with no effort. Gorgeous and of course finding the most beautiful girl to compliment him, a girl whose inner beauty is only matched by her outer beauty. There was no one like him. Unique.
