I knew Terry since Paramus High opened, when 6th graders attended that first year.  Her husband Joe and I have been the best of friends since the early days at Shop Rite on Rte. 17, where Joe and many of the kids from the neighborhood worked.  I don't recall how Joe met Terry, but I do know that she was the love of his life.  Fifty + years ago I was Joe's best man at their wedding.

It's natural to make people more than they were in life, but not so with Terry.  You couldn't ask for a smarter, kinder, gentler, gracious, and funnier friend than Terry.  She was always up for a fun time, but grounded as a mother and wife.  This is gut-wrenching for all of us who knew her, a loss beyond words.

Her obituary below doesn't say enough about who she was, but that would be impossible.  She was so much more than could ever be expressed in words.  My heart breaks for Joe, a one of a kind, whose only love was Terry.

Rest In Peace Terry.  All of us loved you.
